Service Description

The WorkSafe BC Occupational Basic course is an 8 hour program. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency and achieve 70% on a multiple choice exam. On successful completion of the course, participants receive a 3-year certification. COURSE CONTENT Roles and responsibilities Emergency scene management Adult resuscitation Choking Medical conditions Emergency scene management - Trauma Severe bleeding and amputations Internal bleeding Minor wound care Burns Sprains and strains

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the start of the course will not incur a fee. Any cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled date will be subject to a 50% charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non refundable and will be charged in full.
